New Launch: Benefit Lolli Tint

I was lucky enough to be invited to a Benefit bloggers event at House of Fraser Bristol. They were launching their new Lolli Tint! No other brand does it as well as Benefit when it comes to tints as this is now their fourth one. In case you were wondering what Benefit tints are, they are cheek and lip stains. As well as the Lolli Tint, the Benefit girls then introduced the The Porefessional agent zero shine, as some of the bloggers had not had a good look at it yet ...
In Benefits Head Quarters, four years ago they predicted that the most popular cheek and lip colour for Spring/Summer 2014would be a pale lilac, and they could not have been more correct. There are loads of pastel colours floating around in S/S 14's new makeup collections. I will admit I was not a fan of Benefits previous Tints, but this launch has really changed my opinion.

The Lolli Tint is a beautiful pinkie, lilac pastel shade. It has a gel consistency which makes it really easy to blend into the cheeks. To apply the product, you use the brush it comes with and dot the product in a line, where you would normally apply blusher. (From your hair line, to the end of your cheek bone). You then use your normal blusher brush to blend it in. It gives a very natural flush, which can be built up if you want a more statement look. You can also apply it to your lips for a natural colour which lasts ages. I love how the Lolli Tint looks a different colour on different skin tones, and you can create how intense the colour is.

We were also shown that you can mix Lolli Tint with Benefits High Beam highlighter to create a really unique highlighter. You can also mix Lolli Tint with Benfits lipsticks and lip glosses to create really fun colours.
The Benefit girls then showed us the The Porefessional: agent zero shine face powder, which was in their previous launch. I love this powder! It is great for girls with oily skin as it gets rid of any shine. However, it is also fantastic for dry skin girls as the product as minerals in it which means it will not dry your skin out. This powder is so handy to travel with or to carry around in your makeup bag, as it comes with a little brush that fits into the tube. It is such a great innovative product. The powder is also translucent so it will not add colour, nor take away any colour from your foundation. This is a product I will definitely be picking up for the summer months!
The event was hosted by the lovely Lucie and Kirsty who transformed a personal shopping room into a beauty bloggers dream.
